If you visit Laos, one of the places most frequently recommended is Luang Prabang, Laos’s capital city. This old city is located in northern central Laos along the Mekong and Nam Khan rivers, and was previously the capital of the ancient kingdom Luang Prabang. Perfect article for us as we will be going home in October from Schipol and was wondering how it works. Of course, there are others, but this will give you a start on your search for the best airline to ship your pet with. One of the largest, lightest, and most packable travel blankets around. It’s light, compact and surprisingly warm and when done using it compresses so well into its carry bag that it hardly takes up any room.
A detailed summary of each category can be found by reading Afar guidelines for writers. TIP: some airlines allow free upgrade to business class if you pay a so called full ‘Y’ class fare for a ticket (most expensive unrestricted coach class fare). To expand storage space, use containers that are the same size and group them by type.

The question on when to actually make the voyage to the US is pretty complex and there are so many things to consider. And it really does depend on what you want to do while you’re there. Hi Michael. You are very welcome. Thanks for asking this question as I had to ask my hubby about it. He said Angus was given a bit of water especially that KLM is a dog friendly flight. We did not have stopover on that flight and so we did not have to worry about any transfer. We did not sedate him as well as Angus is a quite dog and was already trained for hours of traveling.
I would also point out that what limited case law there is has to do with challenges to evidence introduced at a criminal trial. So even a well established precedent of the sort that you (and so many) believe exists, it may not play any role in what border officials may demand/request of people.

Scott Bateman is a professional journalist who has traveled widely throughout the Caribbean. On board there are about a dozen passengers and the compulsory seat reservations have been issued so that we are all down one end. I sit opposite a slightly scary looking big man with a shaved head and a black leather jacket. It’s actually against the law not to wear a black leather jacket if you are a Romanian man. Smoking and drinking lots of coffee are also mandatory. The inspector writes something on my tickets and it looks like all is in order. The next challenge will be the Bulgarian border in three hours time.
We use a mailing service, Dakota Post, as our address. They will handle your mail in several different ways according to your instructions and either hold your mail for you until you tell them to send it or send it on a regular schedule to an address if you are going to be in one location for a few months. The Escapees also have a similar mail service in SD, and there are other services in SD which I’m sure you can find in a Google search.
Hi Thelma. I have a question. We will be flying from the Philippines to the US but in about 6 months we will be flying back. We want to bring our dog with us. When you flew into the Philippines, was your dog quarantined for a time or … Read more
We had agreed to meet Bri, Ben, and the boys Dorion and Kai there for breakfast. It was a few minutes after 8 and how lucky we were to find that we were the only ones there. Had the whole place to ourselves for breakfast. Now that is my kind of happening. Love it when there are no masses of yakky-doodle people around. After breakfast on the second morning, we set off on a hike into the nearby mountains. Fog hung low, but as we neared the lookout point, sunlight started to peek from behind the clouds. We reached a clearing in the thick trees from which we could overlook the winding river in the valley below.

Central Park is located in the centre of the Island of Manhattan and is open to the public. One of the must-see sights in New York, Central Park is nearly 3.5km² in size. If you find cheap flights to New York, this is somewhere you have to visit.
The original plan for New York City did not have plans for specific green space, except for cemeteries. Growth of the city forced planning to occur.
Central Park has a number of artificially created lakes and ponds. There are miles of walking and jogging tracks and bridle paths that are still used. For wheeled exercise, there are six miles of special “drives” for any sport activity on wheels. The park boasts two ice skating rinks, the most popular attractions in the winter. One of those rinks becomes a swimming pool in the last two months of summer each year.
There are several outdoor locations for theatre, concerts and music festivals. Many renowned entertainers have performed within the boundaries of Central Park. There are many well-known garden areas, some donated by wealthy patrons.
One of the most loved places in all of Central Park is the Bethesda Terrace. Bethesda is an outdoor … Read more
But what happens when you toss in airline travel with your dog? In today’s mobile society it is very common for thousands of people each day, to be traveling with their dog. Some dogs have to go to a kennel or to the house of a friend, but other lucky dogs get to travel with their owners on the airplane. If your favorite traveler’s e-book reader doesn’t have the new Kindle Paperwhite backlit technology or if he or she doesn’t own a great tablet yet, the Kindle Paperwhite e-reader or Kindle Fire HDX tablet would make the perfect gift. I purchased a Kindle Paperwhite e-reader just before my most recent trip abroad and loved being able to unwind with a wide selection of books that I could carry around in my purse!
When we flew with our dog Angus to the Phil. we have given him a little food and water a few hours before going to the airport which was 2 hours drive. Then we let him peed and made his big business before checking in. It was adviced by our vet not to sedate him so that he could control himself in case he had to pee or … Read more

I am still working on it, but I’ve learned a lot through trial and error. Nice places to visit. I do love the more remote places more instead of the resorts. Would love to do some island hopping in the near future. Seen some pictures of my friends and still some very pristine places.

Unfortunately travel insurance doesn’t qualify for a meerkat toy, but you can take a friend to the cinema with 2 for 1 tickets for a whole year with MEERKAT MOVIES. Go to your account to claim your reward. As the sun sets there are some good views and I have an open window. This is great, but in my haste to snap something interesting I nearly lose my camera out the window. Schoolboy stuff, get a grip Woodward. It’s an odd combination of open windows but overhead electric power, so from time to time I hear frazzling sounds and the smell the incineration of large insects or small birds. I settle down by the window and the day changes to night as the sun sets. I’m joined by two local lads who I can only guess are heading out for a Saturday night somewhere more exciting than Gorna Orjahovica. They are an odd couple. One is dressed ready for the full disco experience, right down to a diamond earring, the other has a strange emo haircut making his ears stick out through his hair at an odd angle. I’d like to know how they get on, but of course will … Read more
There is an ongoing PBS TV series (also several books and also a website) called “Closer To Truth”. It is hosted by neuroscientist Robert Lawrence Kuhn. He’s featured in one-on-one interviews and panel discussions with the cream of the cream of today’s cosmologists, physicists, philosophers, theologians, psychologists, etc. on all of the Big Questions surrounding a trilogy of broad topics – Cosmos; Consciousness; God. The trilogy collectively dealt with reality, space and time, mind and consciousness, aliens, theology and on and on and on. Here are a few of my comments on one of the general topics covered – Is time travel possible?
# Is time travel possible? Actually I personally don’t believe time exists. Change exists, and time is just our measurement of rate of change. IMHO time is just a concept. Time is a mental construct that helps us come to terms with change. Some cosmologists say that time was created at the Big Bang, as if time were a thing with substance and structure, but I challenge them to actually create some time in front of their peers or maybe a TV audience or at least produce a theoretical equation or two that would create time.
