We had agreed to meet Bri, Ben, and the boys Dorion and Kai there for breakfast. It was a few minutes after 8 and how lucky we were to find that we were the only ones there. Had the whole place to ourselves for breakfast. Now that is my kind of happening. Love it when there are no masses of yakky-doodle people around. The TravelRest 4-in-1 Premier Class Travel Blanket is a poncho-style blanket made from microfleece that covers your shoulders and won’t slip down. Perfect for home auto, train, and air travel. WOW! In our travels, we often bring our leatherman and it has helped us out many times. This help is not just for cutting fruits in hotel rooms but cooking dinners for families and friends, fixing tables, chairs and other office appliances at international assignments and repairing travel items.
Wow.. one of these days, that would be fantastic. I don’t think I could get the money together for this, like, ever. Just get in touch with a good, reputed and registered travel … Read more
But what happens when you toss in airline travel with your dog? In today’s mobile society it is very common for thousands of people each day, to be traveling with their dog. Some dogs have to go to a kennel or to the house of a friend, but other lucky dogs get to travel with their owners on the airplane. This island has something for everyone, from water sports, scuba diving, and snorkeling, to nightlife with great pubs, bars, and restaurants, to a relaxing and tranquil environment. HMOs and other limited service area policies will not provide coverage unless these folks happen to be in the same area as their mail forwarding services.
The ledge can now hold down metal boxes, metal spice containers, candle holders, pens, flashlights or anything you attach a magnet to (like a tiny bright green Elvis bust for example). Fun & functional. I’d definitely travel to the past-so many historical events and people I’d love to see firsthand!

By making this selection, you will be redirected to the homepage of the chosen country. I am fascinated by the concept of Time-Travel. Therefore, I read every book and see every film I can see on the subject. I’ve seen most of these movies, but there are one or two I’ll have to find and see. I’ve never seen The Time Machine (the version shown here, anyway) or Time After Time, and I’ve been trying to track down 12 Monkeys for a while now. In case you haven’t seen it, I have a Top Ten Time Travel Novels lens that you might enjoy looking at.
I have been been interested in this subject matter in its various forms for quite some time now. I also am an avid practitioner of meditation. I am glad to have found something that explains things that I have experienced in my meditation sessions and takes the woo-woo out of such events. There’s nothing parapsychological/paranormal about it, we just haven’t had the science to explain it until now.

Thinking of moving into an RV? If so, there are nine basic things you need to know before you make the leap from standard living to motor home or camper living. Pets that will be traveling in the cabin may require a reservation. This is to ensure that only a specific number of dogs are booked on any single flight. Because of this I recommend that you contact your airline and make arrangements for your pet in advance. Pets are usually taken on a first come, first served basis, so if too many dogs are going to be traveling in the cabin, you may not be able to take yours in the cabin with you and they may have to checked and travel as baggage.
Excellent hub. I would definitly recommend anyone who wants to travel to go. By the way the tip about letting the bank know is a good one. I travelled to Pakistan and forgot to let the bank know and as a result couldn´t use my HSBC card in any of the shops. I rang them up but still I was only able to use it at the Muslim Commercial Bank. Not even the HSBC there … Read more
Are you thinking about buying a travel trailer? There are so many decisions to make. What better way to fund your travels in your RV or motorhome than by writing about the places you visit? It’s a win-win situation. Here are magazines or websites which buy travel articles with a slant towards RV owners. The articles can be about areas of interest accessible for RVers, road conditions, campgrounds and availability of services.
Amtrak has a great website and I highly recommend buying your tickets online. At you type in cities, dates and number of passengers and presto they give you a schedule and a price. The middle of the week seems to be cheaper than the weekends. And buying your tickets several days in advance gives you the best prices. Plug in different dates on the Amtrak Fare Finder and see what I mean.
I almost bought this trailer but opted for the Snooze Box instead. It was actually my first choice until my husband talked me into the Snooze Box. The traditional Scad-A-Bout trailers are compact and very easy to tow. Again I like it because it is the same shape as the Benroy and King Richard.

Last summer we bought a 1994 Ford Econoline conversion van camper. We had outgrown our charming but cramped and delicate vintage travel trailer, and wanted to take our RV living onto the fast lane (ie. highway) with a conversion van that could go the distance from the Midwest to visit family in Florida… and we wanted to take our dog. Excellent travel trips for the solo adventurer. I have had fun traveling by myself in foreign countries and would agree with the tips and strategies that you have outlined above. voted this hub up as it is excellent for any would be traveler to read through. Great reminders for planning my next adventure.
Wow!!! Already hunting for an alternative word for Paradise because your country, I feel, is more than that. Lucky You…. (Believe me it’s not a hyperbole). I belong to that age group, which did not have access to the Internet during my growing up years. I remember going for vacations during Summers with my family. Your Hub brought back memories of Zion and the River Walk hike which is unlike any other. We are looking forward to a return trip for more hiking. During our three months in South America, we used an old drawstring bag until it was fraying and coming apart completely. We saw other travelers with bags that had compartments but also stuffed down into nothing, and we knew we too needed one!

No visit to Rome would be complete without a visit to the Colosseum. It is amazingly well preserved. Built between 70AD and 80AD, the Roman Colosseum held up to 70,000 spectators for gladiator contests and animal hunts. If you saw Russell Crowe in the Gladiator movie, then you know what I’m talking about. It is estimated that over 500,000 people and 1 million animals were killed during the Roman games.
