International Travel FAQs

I have owned my trailer for 2 years and love it. We have traveled thousands of miles all around this great country and being able to park almost anywhere I want is a great comfort. Before going to the post office to submit the application, I went to a local Walgreens store to get a passport photo taken. Passport photos have to be 2 inches square and show a full face view from the shoulders up. You need to submit two copies with the application.

However, this exploration also leaves an opening to decide what you really have to buy and carry home, or might be able to buy from an online merchant once at home. I’ll also show, from my personal experiences, how you can substitute small, lightweight memorabilia for heavier, cumbersome and breakable objects.

Get to saving! You all know I’m not rich by any means. If I was, I wouldn’t be writing this blog, because I’d be out traveling and spending my huge piles of money. I have to save like everyone else. So, here are some ideas on how to save during your everyday life, even if you think you don’t have any funds to spare.

It is important that you have all the vaccinations and the necessary documentation well in advance of travelling. For example your pet must be vaccinated against Rabies at least twenty one days before travel. If you haven’t arranged this within the specified timeframe then you will either not be permitted to travel or you will be asked to put your pet in quarantine in the UK. Please note that if your pet has previously been vaccinated against Rabies, providing that you give a booster vaccination before it expires, you will not have to observe the twenty one day waiting period. In my friend’s case we were able to give Brussels a booster vaccination and they were able to travel two days later.

For those older but still love to trudge streets of various cities, they will certainly need this when they travel. The walking required in many of the day tours and trips will be less challenging for seniors when they have this. It looks better than an old man’s cane so this will not embarrass the macho old man in your list.
