A new concept in Switzerland could take the hospitality industry by storm. Two conceptual artists from Switzerland have now created seven open air hotel rooms, with outstanding views. They are calling it a performance space, but without the audience.
At these extraordinary Swiss open air hotel rooms, you will find amenities such as a modern butler, who is basically a local farmer. The room will cost you 300 USD a night, and the experience is most definitely priceless.
The Swiss duo, brothers Frank and Patrik Riklin, partnered with Daniel Charbonnier to create this Zero Real Estate project. Their ambition is to project local traditional approaches, and to give hospitality in this part of the region a whole different outlook.
In the words of Frank Riklin, “The idea is that with Zero Real Estate, we make others the performers by performing the concept of real estate without hotel rooms.”
But you may wonder what happens if it rains? They have a solution for that as well, as guests can move to local farmhouses, and barns in case of rain. Previously, this idea was a little different, as they had installed beds in a nuclear bunker, which was at an elevation of 1600 m. Now with the coronavirus pandemic, things have changed, and for the better it seems. The whole idea has moved outdoors, without a roof or walls. Not to mention the sweeping views that Switzerland is known for.
