Hitting the road this Fourth of July? Or maybe the weekend before the holiday? We don’t create travel charts for midweek holidays, but whether you’re driving on our highways or taking one of our ferries, you should still plan for extra travel time during the weekend and the holiday itself. My life has really been made easier by Kindle. So, your friend will really appreciate this if they don’t have one yet. We used to carry suitcases of books and when you find that the ones you brought with you on a particular trip are not really interesting, you’re doomed. With the Kindle, you bring a library so no problem. Just hit home and click on another book.
Prior to your scheduled consultation, you will fill out a pre-consult questionnaire detailing your travel plans, prior vaccination history, current medication history, and other relevant health information. This is important to help you stay healthy while traveling. All decisions are based on the latest CDC guidelines, as well as, information on your travel destination that is current to the date of your appointment.
SGBrown: I’ve done it both ways and know that it takes a special mind set to be able to live full time in an RV. I loved it during the years that I did it, but I was much younger then and thus more flexible. Thanks for stopping by and commenting…nice to see you again!
Me, too. This photo was taken in our garden. Angus has a lot of freedom here in our place. He has a lot of new things to learn. Thanks for dropping by, kerlynb. When traveling with back issues there are some things you need to bear in mind, and some things that will make it all a little easier on you.
In living the mobile life you find space saver and travel-friendly ways to store & transport what you use and need most. I find that magnetic boards and accessories are a great way to keep things handy and in their spot. I always try to put a magnetic board near the kitchen in my RVs.
Start bringing your lunch every day. I hate making a lunch, but I also hate being broke, so instead of going out to eat every single day, I either pull together a lunch before I head to bed, or I make twice as much dinner as we can eat and have the leftovers for lunch the next day. I’m lucky that I don’t work far from my house, or all week, so I can run home for lunch, make something fast to eat and then head back. When I work from home, I also scavenge for food at home, even if it sounds blah. Power through and think of your awesome trip. But don’t forget to splurge every once in a while for fun.
